EndNote is a reference management online tool, used to manage bibliographies and references when writing essays and articles. It is integrated with the Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Knowledge research platform. Registration is required prior to use.


EndNote allows the user to:

  • search library catalogues and free databases from within the EndNote software programme itself,
  • import the selected bibliographic descriptions to the personal folders and create bibliographic databases,
  • automatically create notes and bibliographic lists with the use of Cite While You Write feature which is compatible with Microsoft Word,
  • produce reference lists in different output styles according to the editors' requirements,
  • share the references with other registered users.

Only the Jagiellonian University faculty, staff, and students are entitled to access EndNote.
